Limited edition kit of WWII US four-engined heavy bomber aircraft B-17F in 1/48 scale. The box contains decals and additional plastic parts for the aircraft of the famous 100th Bomb Group, known as "The Bloody Hundreth" flown during 1943. THE KIT CONTENTS - Plastic parts - HK Models B-17F Flying Fortress 1/48 - Extra sprue for 2 alternative B-17F nose variants, including astrodome and cheek gun windows, developed in cooperation with HK Models using Eduard design. New mould, first release. - Photo-etched details (dashboard, small cockpit details, seatbelts, engine details and gunsights) and die-cut masks. - Eduard Brassin B-17F exhausts and superchargers. - Decal sheet featuring 7 markings of B-17Fs from the 100th Bomb Group, spanning from 1943 to 1944. - 100th Bomb Group (H) commemorative metal pin (25 mm diameter). - This release supports the 100th BG Foundation's museums and education projects.
